coffee games

we have lots of videogames about brewing tea. this is fantastic, I am happy for my tea-loving kin to see their passion represented in games.

I am a coffee person. I make one espresso into a cappuccino every day with a let's say 'median' fussiness, so much higher than the normal person on the street but far below the frigid, windswept peaks that coffee can draw you towards. I have an entry level espresso machine and separate grinder, a coffee scale, and portafilter funnel. I don't bother with a needle distribution tool, but I am lucky to have lots of local roasters so I can get pretty good coffee. I typically make 18g of coffee to 40g of espresso, which I'm told is a bit long but I like it. I am also pretty good if a little inconsistent at foaming milk, about half the time I can get a perfectly smooth silky foam. I have a pretty good working knowledge of the error codes on my machine, and on my previous machine I replaced the group head gasket once. I kept that machine (a breville all-in-one) going for about ten years and one cross country move, which I'm pretty proud of.

so where are the coffee games? friends, we have them, they are all around us. the equivalent emotional resonances are present in games like: Satisfactory, Oxygen Not Included, Kerbal Space Program, Transport Tycoon, and so on. these, to me, are coffee games.
